Doric Cookbook: Preserving Family Recipes and Stories

The Wee Larder’s Doric Cookbook will be designed to bring family friendly traditional recipes and stories from the older generations of the Northeast of Scotland to the younger generations.

I would love to hear the names of any recipes you feel are traditional to the Northeast, stories and memories around food and your favourite meals growing up as a child.

It may be a dish passed down through generations, a meal that reminds you of your Grandparents, a tradition that deserves to be shared or a Doric word used in the kitchen, cooking or a recipe title. Your contributions will help preserve and celebrate the food culture of our region and this will help to preserve and keep these special memories and recipes alive for future generations.

You can use the contact form below, drop me an email – info@angiemilne.com or if you would rather a phone call or a zoom call for a proper chat you can email me to arrange that also. I may also be available to meet in person depending on availability.

Thank you so much for your contribution!
