Scottish Christmas & Hogmany Recipes

We absolutely love Christmas and it is by far our favourite time of year! Growing up I remember so many delicious Christmas foods being served when we had guests over or when visiting family. I love a good cheese board with a selection of Scottish cheeses and homemade oatcakes or a nibble buffet with mini sausages, pickled onions and all the retro classics. When it comes to Christmas food the Scots have so much to share. Here are a selection of Traditional Scottish Christmas Recipes, recipes for retro classics that remind me of my childhood and some Scandinavian inspired Christmas recipes. If your reading this at Christmas time I wish and hope you have a lovely Christmas and are inspired by some of these recipes to get busy in the kitchen.

Below is a selection of Traditional Scottish recipes throughout this blog, some of them also have supporting videos on my Youtube channel – The Wee Larder and these will be linked in the blog posts if nessecary. If you have any questions please drop me a line in the comments box under the recipes. Enjoy your Scottish cooking! Angie x
