This collection of recipes are inspired by my own country farmhouse and the types of foods one might have conjured up between these walls over the last 150 years of this old granite cottage standing here. Traditionally our home was owned by the local farm and consisted of two seperate houses, all farm workers going back in the census results. I can only the imagine the hearty dishes they might have cooked up here and the seasonal produce from the gardens. I hope you enjoy my Scottish Farmhouse collection.

Below is a selection of Traditional Scottish recipes throughout this blog, some of them also have supporting videos on my Youtube channel – The Wee Larder and these will be linked in the blog posts if nessecary. If you have any questions please drop me a line in the comments box under the recipes. Enjoy your Scottish cooking! Angie x
