Welcome to…

The Wee Larder!

If you love food your in the right place! My name is Angie Milne and I love to create easy traditional recipes for the family using real whole foods. You will find lots of recipes using local seasonal produce and I love to showcase and use Scottish products where I can.

Fresh food is also important to me and I love a trip to the farmers market…but what could be better than straight out of the garden? I love experimenting growing our own organic food in the garden and you can follow our growing journey here too!

I spend most of my day in the kitchen, to me it really is the heart of the home where everyone is nourished and taken care of. If I am not creating recipes I am researching and developing them. Good wholesome food is my absolute passion.

Cavolo Nero in the veg patch

My recipes are all tried and tested on our four beautiful children, some of which are very fussy eaters and if they are not a hit with the family they usually don’t make it onto this website.

I hope you enjoy our recipes and adventures!

Welcome to The Wee Larder!

With love
