Wee Cook Kitchen Pals
Meet Bonnie (who features in The Wee Cook Logo) and her wee cooking pals!
Cooking is always more fun with a friendly face to guide you. That’s where Bonnie the Wee Cook, who features in The Wee Cook logo, and her wee friends come in!
Along the way, kids will meet a cast of fun, food-loving mascots. Each mascot brings their own special knowledge, tips, and stories to make learning about Scottish cooking even more exciting.
These lovable characters range from a wee hairy Highland cow who loves Winter baking and seasonal ingredients. They also include a wise old nessie monster who knows all about Scotland’s river and sea dishes. These characters will help kids explore the history, traditions, and skills behind every recipe.
The Wee Cook makes cooking an interactive adventure. It’s filled with laughter, learning, and delicious discoveries! Watch this space for more of Bonnie’s friends.

Bonnie’s Pal Wee Hamish who loves Scottish baking!
Say hello to Hamish the Highland Coo, the fluffiest, friendliest baker in The Wee Larder kitchen! Hamish has a thick, shaggy coat and he loves the winter months. The colder, the better, as he stays snug and warm no matter the weather.
But what he loves even more is baking up delicious Scottish treats and sharing them with his friends! From lemon buttery shortbread to warm, spiced fruit loaves, Hamish believes that nothing brings people together like a homemade bake.
He has brought us the very first Wee Cook Seasonal Cooking Guide. It is packed with cosy, comforting recipes perfect for chilly days.
Grab your wee apron and join Hamish on a baking adventure. The journey is filled with fun, flavors, and a sprinkle of Scottish tradition!
