In this book you will find some of our family tearoom favourites. The coconut slice is something my daughter always goes for in a Scottish Tearoom or bakery and my personal favourite is the coconut cake. My Mum would quite often have a coconut sponge in the kitchen and it reminds me of her. I also love the coconut tray bake style slice and the jam tarts are delicious made with freshly made Summer berry jam.
If your looking for something more adventurous why not try the lovely Scottish border tart or the mini Dundee cakes. You could also make up a selection of these bakes and create a lovely tower of treats served with finger sandwiches for an afternoon tea.
