Pecan Caramel Nut Milk

I love making all sorts of nut milk as its a delicious alternative to use in cereals or other recipes. I like to try new things and loved making this pecan nut milk.. It’s delicious with the addition of raw honey and has a lovely caramel flavour. You could make it sweeter with some dates in the blender too.

I use my Nutramilk machine for making all of my nut milks and nut butters and have used it in this recipe. It’s one of my favourite kitchen gadgets and is really powerful. You can use it for smoothies, blending, food processing, nut milk and nut butter. I’ve added a wee link to my machine below if you want to take a look at it. You can also make this recipe with a nut milk bag or muslin and high powered blender.

NutraMilk® Nut Processor

Pecan Caramel Nut Milk

250g of Pecan Nuts

2 heaped tbsp of Raw Honey

1 litre of Water

Blender and nut milk bag method –

Add the nuts and honey to the blender and a little water. Blend and slowly add in the rest of the water and blend until it is completely smooth. Place the nut milk bag over a large glass jar (large enough to hold 1ltr of water). Pour all of the liquid into the nut bag and leave for six hours to drain in the fridge. Bottle the milk in a glass bottle and remove the nut pulp from the bag. You can use the pulp for making cookies, cakes and even in bread.

Nutramilk machine –

Blend the nuts on the blend setting. Add the water and honey and mix on mix settting. Flick to pour setting and pour from spout. Easy!
